I spent my last night in Dhaka with my mother, doing our favourite thing, listening to music. I had just come back from Cox's Bazaar and Mum suggested we go to Indian Cultural Centre to attend a memorial for Kabir Chowdhury where Auditi Mohsin would be singing.

I loved the whole ceremony, learning about Kabir Chowdhury's life and work, and then the beautiful renditions of this wonderful artist:

Last meal of 2011 at The Bari House by Chef Shirin

One of my favourite places to eat since I was in High School, I asked Aunty to keep some of my fav dishes aside from a luncheon she had prepared (cos i wanted to sit with my legs up and eat 5-6 servings)
